Mortlach 15, Gordon & Macphail, 43% abv.
Aged in first fill and refill sherry casks.
Nose: tofu, cereal, peanut husks, a little floral and mossy.
Palate: spicey, old steamed lotus leaves on the mid palate, honey on the mid and back palates, a hint of non-berry fruits.
Finish: moderate, hints of honey.
Alot of those elements I don't like, but it combines it well with a honey coating in a well balanced manner. Well done, just not my type flavor profile.
Grade: C
