Port Ellen 1979 Ninth Release 30 year old

Nose: (Neat) Rich, citrus, ash, maritime, oranges, briny, light grassy, light peat smoke, pear, green apples and menthol. (Diluted) Some slight hints of vanilla, more floral and fruity notes. .

Palate: (Neat) Sweet, smoky ash, very intense citrus, lemons and oranges, fruity, a bit dry, pepper note on the tongue. (Diluted) More lemons and citrus fruits but not too explicit.

Finish: Medium long, pleasant and very well balanced, honey, ashy smoke at the back followed by long ashy oranges and tobacco leaves.
