Blair Athol 27 (Signatory). Nose: extreme sherry, sharp, honey. Palate: hot, sweet, mellowed raisins. Finish: moderate, honey, wood, some sour notes, maybe some sour smoke. This was a pretty intense bottle (only younger IB Ledaig is more brutal), perhaps a younger version would have been more manageable, definitely elements of high quality, sweet and that slightly peaty aftertaste. Beautiful color too.
