Suntory Whisky Toki, 43% abv.
A blend of whiskies from Suntory's Hakushu, Yamazaki, and Chita distilleries... wait isn't that Hibiki? Actually the main components to Toki are from Hakushu and Chita. Interestingly, the character written on the label is not "toki", but close in meaning.
Nose: soured green grapes, sour fruit in general.
Palate: light sour wood, some vanilla on the back palate, after a few sips its a little watery.
Finish: medium, vanilla is slightly more intense than from the palate.
It's not great, but has a few redeeming points. A little weird, very unbalanced.
Grade: C
