OMC has some interesting "contemporary" history behind it. In 2013, the 2nd generation Laings split Douglas Laing into 2 companies, with Fred Laing keeping the Douglas Laing name and Stewart Laing naming his new company Hunter Laing; Hunter is Stewart's middle name. Douglas Laing retained the rights to Provenance, Director’s Cut, Clan Denny, Big Peat, Double Barrel, King of Scots, McGibbons, and Epicurean Scotch brands while Hunter Laing kept Old Malt Cask, Old & Rare, Douglas of Drumlanrig, Sovereign, Douglas Blend, John Player Special, Langside, and House of Peers Scotch brands. Let's face it, most of these brands are the same.

Nose: red fruits, honey, a little herbal, zesty, malty.

Palate: light honey wood, hints of vanilla, back palate is pepper and toast that continues to intensify into the finish.

Finish: short to medium, toasty. There is a feint smokey aspect which lasts a little long though.

Many sweet aspects, all over the place. Compared to the previous OMC Arran, some aspects are more subdued while some are stronger. Overall similar in profile though. Had this at @wood_side_bar in Seomyeon, Busan, South Korea.
