My favorite online whisky retailer in Metro Manila.

As a relative novice in whisky appreciation, it can be a little intimidating to take your first trip to a brick and mortar liquor store.

I can recall my first time. I felt a little embarrassed to point to a bottle on the shelf, ask the storekeeper for help so I can check it out up close, ask for the price, then ask that the bottle be put back as I move on to the next item I want to ask about. I was especially shy knowing that I knew so little about the bottles I was checking out.

I feel like the good people at @liquor.ph had this in mind and crafted their site to make the purchasing experience as pleasant and approachable as possible.

Upon confirming that you are old enough to purchase liquor in the Philippines, you are greeted with clear options for browsing: Deals, Single Malt, American Whiskey, Gin, Rum, Vodka.

They always have amazing deals on offer! They can give discounts ranging from 10% to 50% off every month. They also sometimes offer tasting sets and masterclasses.

The #SingleMalt and American #Whiskey sections are also very approachable. Offering a really good selection of authentic bottles from various brands, almost all bottles have a description and tasting notes to help you decide on what you might like. There is a search bar in case you're looking for a specific bottle. Or if you're on a budget, you can also sort all their offerings within each category on a price ascending/descending basis. Prices are competitive with other online retailers and stores.

Beyond #whisky, they also offer Gin, Rum and Vodka.

Checking out is hassle free, with credit card, gcash, bank deposit and COD options. Deliveries within Metro Manila are free of charge and can be completed within the same day too.

Frank and Leonard, the creators of Liquor.ph are very hands on and approachable too. I've even experienced one of my orders personally delivered by one of the owners to ensure timely delivery. That's just amazing service!
