𝐀 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐆𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲⁣

⁣This was a riff on a widows kiss from the 2021 October menu at Boston Baijiu Bar. The name is a reference to one of my favorite Chinese movies 倩女幽魂, starring Leslie Chung. It also suited the season, as Halloween was coming up, and the movie is a romantic horror picture.⁣

Stir, strain over rocks, express and discard lemon twist, and garnish with a mist of Chinese five spice aromatic spray from Alice and The Magician.

This drink pairs the apple notes in Strong Aroma baijiu with two different types of apple Brandy, the herbal characters of cynar and chartreuse, and five spice for a fall flavored cocktail with a fun twist.
