The folks atย @mingriverbaijiuย sent me a bottle of their baijiu and a set of awesome tiki mugs to experiment with. This is what I came up with first. โฃ

๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ฅโฃ
โฃ
2.5 oz Ming River Baijiuโฃ (@mingriverbaijiuย )
2 oz fresh pressed pineapple juiceโฃ
.75 oz Fresh Pressed Green Apple Juiceโฃ
.75 oz fresh lime juiceโฃ
.75 oz Black Liquorice Syrupโฃ
.25 green cardamom and cinnamon syrupโฃ
โฃ
Shake, strain into a panda tiki mug over crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint, green apple, and black liquorice swizzle stick. This drink is tart, floral, and herbal. โฃ
โฃ
Baijiu is China's favorite spirit and the most widely sold spirit on the planet. Ming River is a Szechuan style baijiu with fruity, floral flavors reminiscent of pineapple, liquorice, flowers, and malic acid. That's what inspired the ingredients in this drink.โฃ
โฃ
Ming River is bottled at 45% ABV and is a fantastic introduction to baijiu for those outside of China looking to test the waters without diving into the deep end.โฃ
โฃ
Most Baijiu cocktails I've seen take a tiki approach and I wanted to do that too. I didn't want to use rums to drown out the natural flavors of the Baijiu so I kept this a single spirit drink. โฃ
โฃ
Just to reiterate, I won't ever do promotional or sponsored posts using products I don't respect.โฃ
