Is the Negroni the most riffed on cocktail out there? Feels like it. The equal parts recipe makes it so easy to Mr. potatohead your way to something new. This is a riff on a riff. A baijiu white negroni. In Chinese the character 白(bai) means white, so my drink name isn't very creative. Ming river gave me this bottle to experiment with, and this cocktail came out better than I anticipated. The delicate floral notes and slightly fruity sweetness of the baijiu works well to cut through the bitter gentian in the Salers and quinine of the Cocchi. The result is the best white negroni I've ever had. ⁣⁣
