Dawn Chorus
1oz coffee infused dark rum .5oz Smith and cross .75 oz citrus mix (2:1 lime juice to grapefruit juice)
11ml Aperol
11ml Rinomato deciso
barspoon of cinnamon syrup
salted pineapple soda
shake all except soda. strain into a tall glass and top with the soda. Garnish with pineapple fronds and dehydrated pineapple.
I love weird Asian sodas. So when I saw this salted pineapple one I knew I had to try it in a cocktail. This is a coffee flavored twist on the classic Jungle Bird cocktail invented at the Aviary Bar in the Kuala Lumpur Hilton in 1978.
