This drink is a take on the Hemingway Daiquiri created by Alex Day from @deathandcompany Cocktail Codex⁣
⁣
1.5 oz @beefeatergin
⁣
.5 oz @aperolusa
⁣
1 oz fresh grapefruit juice⁣
⁣
.5 oz fresh lime juice⁣
⁣
.5 oz simple syrup⁣
⁣
shake all and strain into a coupe.  Garnish with a high five⁣
⁣
As you would expect from a daiquiri this drink is tart with a bright citrus flavor, but aperol gives it an herbal rhubarb-y bitterness that supports the grapefruit juice.  A great daiquiri alternative for Amari lovers. ⁣Can't recommend this book highly enough.
