This is an interesting take on a daiquiri credited to Wayne Curtis at The Passenger in Washington DC. ⁣ EDIT: I've since learned it was created by Derek Brown not Wayne Curtis. ⁣

Start by splitting the base between rum and Amari. The bitter Cynar contrasts with the sweeter vanilla of the Bacardi 8. The lime and simple are reduced from the classic daiquiri spec down to a half ounce as the cynar adds bitter and the Bacardi 8 is already a little sweet. ⁣
