Given all the snow in North Carolina, we’re taking inspiration from one Leonard Rockstein and using snow as an ingredient.

- 2.5 parts bonded/100+ proof bourbon
- 1 part milk
- 1.5 parts fresh fallen snow
- 1 part Demerara syrup
- 2 or 3 dashes of Angostura bitters
- 1 whole egg
- A splash of Antica vermouth
- Orange peel

Add all ingredients except milk and orange peel to shaker, shake dry and violently. Add ice, shake again. Strain and serve down in a rocks glass. Add milk, and stir. Express orange peel into drink.
