Bladnoch, 10 Year Old, ABV 46.7% - ChrisYeo.Whisky

The Lowland region of Scotland has been one of the more quiet areas of Scotch production, with a flavor profile that is typically more grassy and floral, gentle and lighter-bodied.

Bladnoch is one of the Lowland's stalwart, having been founded in 1817 and has been releasing single malt whisky periodically, in other times, catering production for use in blends. The distillery resides on a farm and has seen several changes in ownership, most recently, having restarted production in 2017.

This 10 Year Old comes from their latest core range, and was matured in ex-Bourbon barrels. It was crafted by then Master Distiller Ian Macmillan with the tagline "Celebrating 200 Years".
