Singapore's popular agave-centric bar Cat Bite Club has announced its latest menu shakeup, featuring a selection of new classics, ahead of its second anniversary since its doors first opened in June 2023. Touted as One to Watch by World’s 50 Best Bars 2024, Cat Bite Club can be found tucked away behind a secret entrance marked by a glowing red sign with a mischievous Cheshire cat grin at 75 Duxton Road. 

Since then, Cat Bite Club has been on a mission to inspire discovery and help educate guests on the two unique categories of agave spirits and rice spirits, showcasing their use in cocktails through familiar - and some less familiar - classics.

New offerings include the Old Cuban, a traditionally rum-based cocktail with mint, citrus and Prosecco (S$27++); the drink is reimagined two ways, with the Corsair featuring Cointreau Citrus Series, The Lost Explorer Espadin Mezcal, Blanc Vermouth, Malic Acid, Fernet Branca and Peychaud's bitters, carbonated and the Grape Escape with Hachi Kome Shochu, gin, grape shrub, St. Germain Elderflower, Gentian, Amaro, citrus blend and sparkling sake.

One of the more esoteric classics the "Rattlesnakes has also been reimagined. Named because "it will either cure a Rattlesnake bite, or kill Rattlesnakes, or make you see them,” according to Harry Craddock’s 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book.

Cat Bite’s version of the classic features Monkey Shoulder Scotch, maple, cinnamon, Peychaud’s bitters, citrus blend, Aer and Worcestershire. The agave twist, Shiso Foine, includes Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Sotol Vibora, Sloe Gin, Maraschino, shiso, raspberry, citrus blend, grapefruit bitters and Aer. 24 Karrot integrates rice spirits with Tokki Gold Soju, Moutai Yingbin, Kirsch, pecan, carrot, bitter orange, citrus blend and apple cider vinegar.

An expanded House Faves section also includes the much loved Meow Now Brown Cow with Herradura Añejo Tequila, Mr Black Coffee Liqueur, banana cordial, vanilla cream, Sherry, aromatic bitters and salt. Of course, other Cat Bite specialties remain, such as the rotating Milk Punch for a Cause (S$25++), with a portion of sales donated to local cat charities!

The menu follows the bar’s recent merch drop, which presents guests the opportunity to get a collection of limited edition swag including ceramic coasters ($8), lapel pins ($5), beanies ($25) and t-shirts by Ageless Galaxy ($35). Merch is only available for purchase at the bar!
