Sugarhall's New Menu "Cocktail Getaway" Is Your Ticket to A Tropical Escape In The City

With summer coming to an end, you might be grounded in Singapore but your tastebuds certainly don't have to be! Rum-focused cocktail bar and restaurant Sugarhall is launching their new cocktail menu, title "Cocktail Getaway".

The new menu features over 18 signature cocktails, punch bowls, and rum flights, take features Sugarhall's cheeky take on classic rum cocktails. To Principal bartender Edward Koh, the menu also offers guest a chance to "indulge in one of their favourite things to do - travelling for pleasure!"

Their Iced Mojito counts itself as one of such re-imaginations. Said to transport one to the infinity pool of a sunny private villa, the cocktail is a tasteful marriage of unaged Diplomático Rum, lime, and crème de menthe, topped off with hand-shaved sugarcane ice.

For regulars of Sugarhall's old Amoy Street location, their San Juan Cooler returns with a vengeance after seven years. Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum takes on green grapes, passion fruit, lime, and the sparkle of soda for fizz-filled delight.

Sugarhall also offers something for guests who want to expand their knowledge on Rum with six expertly curated Rum Flights. Three beginner-friendly options starting at S$35 will allow guests to explore the diverse world of rum from bigger producers like Foursquare to rums with smaller, lesser-known origins.

Starting from S$60, more experienced connoisseurs can also look to First Class flights featuring the finest rums from regions like France, Guyana, and Jamaica.

If rum ain't your thing, Sugarhall's new menu also features plenty of cocktail options with other spirits, equally capable of transporting you to the sunny shores of your dream destinations.

Like the crisp tropical seas that inspired it, the Blue Lagoon finds itself based with zero-waste Discarded Chardonnay Vodka, in which homemade coconut blue curaçao and zesty lemonade are mixed in.

The Makgeolli "Mai Tai" also provides a sort of cultural exchange. Earthy smoke of QuiQuiRiQui Espadín Mezcal is combined with the sweet, tangy notes of Korean rice wine. Together with beetroot and finished with rice orgeat and pineapple, a creamy yet tropical escapade awaits guests.

Experience the vibrant avours of Asia in the Green Spicy Margarita, featuring tart green mango with Patrón Silver Tequila and aromatic Thai basil. Together with housemade roasted chilli tincture, the feisty drink is a celebration of the bold and spicy avours beloved in the bustling night markets of Asia. Wrap up the night on cloud nine with the Souffle Espresso Martini topped with airy dalgona foam. Balancing robust avours of cold brew coffee and Mr Black Coffee Liqueur with nutty notes of macadamia and the warm richness of Santa Teresa Rum, each sip feels like a scenic hot air balloon ride.

The Southside Punch blends Hendrick’s Gin with elderflower, melon, and mint.

Of course, there are also options for those out merrymaking with friends! Sugarhall’s signature punch bowls contains up to 20 servings each, and comes with a full bottle of spirit that can be used as your group desires.

Topped with gently licking flames, the Rum-based One Punch Rum pairs Angostura 5 YO Rum with passion fruit, coconut and spices, while the Pera Punch Margarita brings together Altos Plata Tequila, pear and apple brandy for those that prefer more fruity flavors.

All signature cocktails on the new Cocktail Getaway menu are priced at S$26 while non-alcoholic options are available at S$18. Happy Hour at Sugarhall runs 5.30pm to 8pm daily with cocktails at S$16 each.
