"The list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, was revealed on Thursday 28th April, marking the seventh edition of the regional ranking. Gathered at an awards ceremony in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok for the first time in three years, the bar community celebrated the unveiling of the new edition, which was also broadcasted worldwide on Facebook and YouTube.

Featuring 14 new entries, with venues located in 16 cities across the continent, the ranking provides the ultimate bucket list for the drinks-savvy traveller." (Official Statement from 50 Best)

Notably, for the second year running, Hong Kong's Coa has again taken the crown! It's certainly been a tough year for the industry, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Heartiest of congratulations to all the winners, as well as those who've made it to the Asia's Next 50 Best Bars of 2022!

This year, a total of 11 winners came from Singapore (making the Little Red Dot home to the most awardees from Asia's 50 Best Bars in 2022), 8from Hong Kong, 6 from Thailand (Bangkok), 5 from South Korea (Seoul), 6 from Japan (4 from Tokyo, 1 from Kyoto, 1 from Nara), 4 from Mainland China (3 from Shanghai, 1 from Guangzhou), 4 from India (3 from New Delhi, 1 from Colvá), 2 from Taiwan (Taipei), 2 from Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), 1 from Indonesia (Jakarta), and 1 from Sri Lanka (Hiriketiya).
