Bar Trigona

With a menu focusing on indigenous and sustainable ingredients, named ‘Herb Garden in Your Glass’, Bar Trigona speaks to its setting beyond the gilded walls of its host Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

Head bartender Shadrach ‘Shawn’ Shan, who took the reins from Ashish Sharma in 2021, focusses on four common Malaysian herbs that are used in kitchens up and down the country – pandan, lemongrass, pegaga and bunga kantan. Don’t miss the signature Trigona Old Fashioned, created with rye whisky, honey and bitters, or the aptly named Serenity, a soothing concoction of dark rum, lime juice and lemongrass falernum.

It’s a winning year for Bar Trigona, as it is named The Best Bar in Malaysia for the fourth consecutive year and clinches the newest accolade to the programme, the Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award.
