Global marketing and communications agency, The Foundry Asia, is marking its second anniversary with a grand celebration of global cocktail culture.

The star event of the anniversary is the titular The Best of All Worlds (October 7th, Mostly Harmless), a special, one-night-only showcase featuring Macau’s Wing Lei Bar, Bengaluru’s ZLB23, and Florence’s Locale Firenze to honor The Foundry Asia's clients, partners, and friends.

In addition, The Foundry Asia's partners and portfolio will host a week-long program of guest shifts and activations across Hong Kong and Macau (October 4-9). This series of events will also coincide with the international hospitality community's arrival for The World's 50 Best Bars 2025 award ceremony in Hong Kong.

Macau Meets Mexico Wing Lei Bar: Aruba Day Drink & Las Brujas

 

 

This special guest shift brings the innovative spirit of Mexico’s cocktail scene to Macau, featuring two of its most captivating bars: Aruba Day Drink from Tijuana and Las Brujas from Mexico City. Aruba Day Drink presents a multi-sensory experience where each creation by lead bartender Keven Tocino is expertly paired with a piece of music and a colour.

They are joined by the female-led collective Las Brujas, who draw inspiration from the mystical heritage of their home, the “Casa de las Brujas” (House of the Witches). Their cocktails are rooted in Mexican herbalism, featuring house-made ingredients and honouring female Latin American writers and activists.

For one night only at Wing Lei Bar, these two distinct sources of cocktail excellence will unite for an unforgettable evening of sensory exploration.

On Sunday, 6 October, Ho Lee Fook opens its doors to a night unlike any other, bringing together three kindred spirits of food and drink. Chef ArChan steps into the kitchen alongside Andrew Ho, the creative force behind Guangzhou’s trailblazing Hope & Sesame and Mark Lloyd, the visionary Head Mixologist at Wing Lei Bar at Wynn Palace, Macau.

As the clock strikes ten, the night takes on a new rhythm. The tables are cleared, the lights dip and the music rises. For HKD388, guests can join the late-night gathering: three cocktails, chef’s snacks, a DJ on the decks and a roomful of good company.

Designed for mingling and capped at just 40 guests, it is an intimate chance to keep the night alive, glass in hand and feet moving to the beat!

The Foundry Presents The Best of All Worlds

 

 

The Foundry presents The Best of All Worlds, an exclusive event uniting three internationally acclaimed bars: Mark Lloyd from Wing Lei Bar at Wynn Palace (Macau), Rajib Mukherjee from ZLB23 (Bengaluru), and Alessandro Mengoni and Fabio Fanni from Locale Firenze (Florence).

Guests can expect a trip around the world beginning at 7pm where Rajib Mukherjee introduces cocktails from his Kyoto-style speakeasy program at ZLB23, blending Eastern-inspired flavours with precision.

After which, at 8pm, Mark Lloyd presents Wing Lei Bar’s UNITY menu, a collection of cocktails born from global collaborations. To conclude, at 9pm, Alessandro Mengoni and Fabio Fanni bring Tuscan heritage and contemporary low-waste innovation from Locale Firenze.

The evening will also feature a Lee Kum Kee noodle bar pop-up, serving complimentary bites throughout the night. Cocktails for the evening will feature spirits from Altamura Distilleries Vodka, Solisca, and Iichiko.

Foiegwa Kitchen & Bar Takeover

 

 

On Tuesday, October 7th, Call Me AL switches things up with a full kitchen and bar takeover from Montreal.

Behind the line, they’ll host Foiegwa, an Americanised French bistro helmed by Executive Chef Jeremie Falissard. Jeremie has curated a set menu of Foiegwa’s hero dishes from the past decade, including the bistro’s famed beef tartare and cheeseburger à la foie gras.

Behind the bar will be the one and only Kate Boushel of Atwater Cocktail Club and hospitality group Barroco. Known as the “Matriarch of Montreal”, Boushel is an undeniable force in hospitality, celebrated for her leadership and innovation. Atwater has consistently ranked on North America’s 50 Best Bars and Boushel herself has been honoured as Altos’ Bartenders’ Bartender.
