📍Roxy @ The Sail, Marina Bay

A relatively new bar that we’re thrilled to have stumbled upon in the past year. With consistent personalised service and drinks, free shots if you’re lucky, and a vibrant atmosphere that only gets better as the night progresses, Roxy makes it known that size (of a bar of course) does not matter!

The bar itself is tucked behind a lane of restaurants at The Sail and is, by far the closest experience to a speakeasy that one can find in Singapore. You can choose to sip on cocktails from the seasonal menu or let the bartender express his creativity and craft a bespoke mix that’s based on your preferred base. No surprise that we opted for the latter! Overall, though the location of the bar is easy to overlook, the same definitely cannot be said regarding the experience

Here’s what we ordered:

🥂 Tequila, Tonic, Chilli

Bursting with flavour, the classic tequila and tonic mix is elevated by the added spice of the smoked chilli. Despite the strong base, the drink remained very smooth to sip on!

🥂 Gin, Citrus, Cherry, Violet, Mint

A cooling and not too sweet mix, perfect for battling the unbelievably hot weather lately. The cherry undertones definitely set the drink apart, but are the reason the drink is so hard to savour!
