Balvenie Story No. 10: A Collection Of Curious Casks - 14 Year Old American Bourbon Barrel Single Cask Distilled In 2009
"Hand selected by Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie, this unique single cask has been fully matured in American oak barrels which have previously held bourbon. This hidden gem is alive with unusual notes of smouldering oak and is grounded in woody, earthy flavours with layers of candied orange and a deep vanilla oakiness."
This 14 Year Old Single Cask was distilled in 2009 and bottled at 47.8% ABV.
Balvenie Story No. 10: A Collection Of Curious Casks - 18 Year Old French Pineau Cask Finish Single Cask Distilled In 2005
"Hand selected by Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie, this intriguing single cask is matured first in traditional oak, with a second maturation in French oak casks, previously used to mature pineau sweet wines from the Charentes region. This experimental whisky offers complex layers of delicate spicy sweetness with warming amber and gentle oaky tannin."
This 18 Year Old Single Cask was distilled in 2005 and bottled at 47.9% ABV.
