Champagne Dom Perignon Calls In Artist Damien Hirst For Vintage 2018 & Rose Vintage 2010

Dom Pérignon has unveiled its latest end-of-year limited edition, partnering with acclaimed British artist Damien Hirst to reimagine its historic shield.
Drawing inspiration from Hirst’s iconic Kaleidoscope paintings, the dynamic design transforms the prestige Champagne house's emblem into a repeating, multi-faceted composition where the iconic motif multiplies across the bottle.
The collection uses two colours, with one for each wine. Deep blue marks Dom Pérignon Vintage 2018 while a “warm and gentle pink” marks Rosé Vintage 2010, which is simultaneously a nod to the Pinot Noir at the heart of the rosé.
Dom Pérignon frames the collaboration as a meeting of shared philosophy centered on the concept of assemblage. Just as each vintage is a singular creation crafted from the harvest of a single year, Hirst’s artistic methodology relies on assembling distinct, individual components into a cohesive artistic expression.
To be sure, the Hirst-designed editions feature already established cuvées: the Vintage 2018 originally debuted in Spain earlier this year, while the Rosé Vintage 2010—first revealed in late 2025 alongside artist Takashi Murakami—enters broader commercial distribution in 2026.

This connection is most evident in Hirst’s Kaleidoscope series, where fragmented elements are brought together and elevated into a unified whole.
The house has described 2018 as a year with “a perfect weather trajectory”, generous sunshine and enough water for every stage of the vine’s cycle. In August, earlier ripening let chef de cave Vincent Chaperon aim for “more minerality, more sucrosity, more fruit and salinity”.
The house characterizes the Rosé Vintage 2010 as a deeper, more interior expression, led by a Pinot Noir of "uncommon density and assertion". Presented alongside the vintage, the two cuvées form a collectible duo, "one solar and taut, the other intimate and shadowed".
Hirst is the latest in a long line of artists and creators that Dom Pérignon has worked with for nearly three decades. More recently in 2005, it began a series of collaborations with figures from the decorative arts and pop culture.

Born in Bristol in 1965, Damien Hirst rose to prominence in 1988 while still a student at Goldsmiths by conceiving and curating the landmark group exhibition Freeze. The seminal show launched the influential Young British Artists (YBAs) movement, cementing Hirst's place in contemporary art history. Today, he lives and works between London and Gloucestershire.
He has had more than 90 solo exhibitions since 1987, including at Tate Modern (2012), the Rijksmuseum (2008), the Fondation Cartier in Paris (2021) and the Pinault Collection in Venice (2017).
Dom Pérignon x Damien Hirst Vintage 2018 Limited Edition Gift Box is being launched in Selfridges from today with an MSRP of £230 for a 75cl bottle, while the 2010 rosé has an MSRP of £405 for the same format and retailer.
