Crown Royal's New 30 Year Old Extra Rare Blended Canadian Whisky Marks Its Oldest Expression Yet

Canadian whisky brand Crown Royal is launching a new limited edition 30 Year Old Blended Canadian Whisky. The new 30-year-old unseats last year’s 29-year-old release, making this the oldest Crown Royal whisky to date by a year.

The 30 Year Old whisky contains components ged separately in casks before being blended together, but unlike most other whiskies produced by the brand, this whiskies in this release were not distilled at the Gimli distillery, but the LaSalle distillery on the island of Montreal. The LaSelle distillery had closed in 1993, and the barrels used in this expression had been matured there.

Crown Royal Aged 30 Years has an ABV of 46% and will be available for a limited time regionally in AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, IL, LA, MI, OH, PA, TX, and Military bases beginning on November 1, 2023. The suggested retail price is $499 for a 750ml bottle.
