Yep, you saw that headline right! Don Julio has partnered with Korean DJ and Producer Peggy Gou to create the Don Julio 194구 (pronounced 194Gou).

Replacing the 2 with the symbol for the DJ's surname, this release is said to be the brand's first global product collaboration, with Gou herself designing the limited bottle of the Tequila.

The bottle is a mint green and deep purple, adorned with a chrome cap and wrapped in a reflective finish. On the label, a holographic ‘194구’ bears both the DJ's signature as well as Don Julio's logo.

The box that houses the bottle is said to pay homage to Gou’s tattoos and love for nail art on the outside, while the inner cover features a hand-drawn illustration along with a personal message from Gou that describes her process and passion for the collaboration.  

The global launch begins in New York City on April 2nd, a date honoring Don Julio Gonzalez's founding of the brand in 1942. A unique souvenir shop façade, featuring 194구 merchandise, will also transform into a hidden party space.

Following the New York event, Gou will continue to promote the release with appearances in London, Milan, Seoul, and Hong Kong.

Bottles of 194구 are available globally at select retailers while stocks last, including in the US, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Dubai, Mexico and more.
