Tequila-maker Don Julio is out with a new Portuguese-inspired expression - the Ruby Port Wine aged Don Julio Rosado.

On the back of its successful orange wine cask-finished Primavera expression, Don Julio has created a Reposado (Tequilas aged for 2 -12 months) tequila aged for at least four months in Portuguese Ruby Port wine casks from the famous Douro wine region of Portugal.

This has produced a tequila with a delicate pink hue "delivering notes of creamy strawberry, ripe raspberry, dried plum, roasted caramel, and a touch of rich cocoa, creating a unique and smooth tequila".

A unique blend of strawberry, raspberry, and plum notes balanced with flavors of roasted caramel and rich cocoa.

Incredibly smooth with a light fruit finish.
