Don Julio's Calls Its First Joven Expression Honey Of The Soul, Alma Miel

Step aside Chicken Soup For The Soul, Don Julio has some honey for our souls with its new Alma Miel Joven Tequila.

Alma Miel translates as Honey Of The Soul, and sees a blend of Don Julio's Blanco Tequila with oven-roasted agave honey and 14-month Anejo Tequila finished in Cremant du Limoux wine casks, creating a sweeter profile that is said to be replete with notes of "agave honey, spiced orchard fruit, creamy caramel, and rich roasted agave".

The new Don Julio Alma Miel shares a bottle shape similar to that of the brand's popular Don Julio 1942, taking the form of a tall decanter.

This is Don Julio's first Joven tequila which is by definition a blend of unaged Blanco tequila and aged tequilas.

The new expression retails for US$99.99, and is bottled at 40% ABV.
