Glen Scotia Campbeltown Malts Festival 2026 Release Sees Medium Peated Ruby Port Cask Finish

Each year for the annual Campbeltown Malts Festival, the smallest Scotch whisky producing region has its handful of distilleries celebrate - and despite their numbers, they've garnered some massive attention for their spectacular whiskies, or as what Glen Scotia Distillery calls Big Campbeltown Character!
Over the past editions, fans have come to look forward to what Glen Scotia puts out - each year something really exciting, fresh and unique!
And so for the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2026, Glen Scotia is teasing a Medium Peated Ruby Port Cask Finish that's been aged for 7 years and bottled at 53.9% ABV.

Waves of rich peat smoke meet creamy vanilla notes and intertwine with Glen Scotia's coastal character, revealing a vibrant medley of red fruit flavors from a six-month Ruby Port cask finish. Notes of blackcurrant jam, dark cherry and warming spice unfold over creamy fudge and gentle salinity, leading to a long, smoky finish.
Kanpai!
