We all know that feeling of being told right at our turn at the liquor store counter that they're right out of stock of Hendrick's new limited edition expressions - some of us get into the store, corner the unwitting sales staff, find out there isn't any left and hop back in the car to the next outlet - we've all been here.

So before the cat's out of the bag, you'll want to be the first to know that Hendrick's is going to soon unveil a new limited expression from their Cabinet of Curiosities series - the Hendrick's Grand Cabaret Gin.

The new gin expression crafted by Hendrick's Gin's Master Distiller Leslie Gracie - who by the way is one of only four people who know the specific recipe of the 11 different botanicals that goes into the standard Hendrick's Gin - is inspired by a whimsical 17th century fruit-based cocktail, and is accordingly infused with stone fruits and sweet herbs.

It's bottled at 43.4% ABV and will go for about US$45.
