Crown Royal was first created as a tribute to the 1939 royal tour of Canada by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, made with a blend of White Oak aged Canadian whiskies produced using three core grains - rye, corn and barley - that's used across five distinct mash recipes and twelve distillation columns. But the truth is that it's the flavoured whiskies that is where it's at, with its thick, lush textures that deliver rich and heavy tones of some fantastically unexpected flavours, almost giving the quality of schnapps, making it Canada's best selling whiskey. Now this time though, there appears to be two different labels for the new Crown Royal Pineapple - the Crown Royal Summer Pineapple and the Crown Royal Pineapple.
