Jennifer Lopez Debuts New Italy-Inspired RTD Cocktails Delola Spritz

American singer Jennifer Lopez is officially entering the drinks market and launching her new premium bottled cocktail brand called The House of Delola. The brand will focus on bottled cocktails made from natural botanicals and natural colorings.

The first of the brand’s releases is the Delola Spritz, available in three different flavors. This includes the Paloma Rosa Spritz (11.5% ABV) made from tequila, grapefruit and elderflower; the Bella Berry Spritz (10.5% ABV) made from vodka, berries and hibiscus; and the L’orange Spritz (10.5% ABV) made from Amaro, orange and passionfruit.

Delola Spritz was created in collaboration with Teremana Tequila co-founders Ken Austin and Jenna Fagnan, as well as her manager Benny Medina and renowned mixologist Lynnette Marrero, who was voted “World’s Best Bartender” in 2021.

Delola Spritz was inspired by Lopez’s love for lifestyle and hospitality of the Italian coast, where she first discovered spritzes. On her decision to start the brand, Lopez shared:

"I love entertaining and to relax and unwind with friends, but never found a drink that was right for me. I was in search of something that I could enjoy that fit the thoughtful way that I live my life. When I didn't find it, I decided to create Delola. My goals were better ingredients, better taste, fewer calories than traditional cocktails, and one simple pour. Something easy, fun, fresh and delicious. I knew that if I was looking, others were too. Delola gives people the freedom to enjoy – free from the cutting, squeezing, and mixing, free from the stress of entertaining, free to make ordinary moments extraordinary. Each one is bottled up in a beautiful glass bottle and ready to serve. Just pour over ice and enjoy. I started this journey two years ago and I'm so excited to finally share Delola with the world."

These lower-ABV ready-to-drink cocktails will be available in 375ml and 750ml glass bottles in the United States from April onwards. Each serving is said to contain 110 calories or less.

There are plans for distribution to expand globally in the coming years, with Beam Suntory, a minority investor in Delola, announced as the global distribution partner for Delola.

The Delola Spritz bottles are embossed with a design resembling the Bronx crest, in reference to Lopez’ New York roots, and lions, in reference to her and her husband Ben Affleck’s Leo zodiac signs.
