Kanosuke is probably amongst the hottest of the newest wave of Japanese craft whisky, bringing with them generations of experience from pioneering cask-aged Shochu, the Mellowed Kozuru.

Each year, the distillery has gone from strength to strength, with 2023 seeing their first core expression. But of course, the distillery had to keep the limited edition expressions coming - the new Kanosuke 2023 Limited Edition!

The newest expression is made with peated malt distilled in 2018 and 2019, which were then aged in ex-Shochu casks and ex-Sherry casks, and finally bottled at cask strength of 59% ABV.

It is priced at 14,300 Yen (or US$106.60).
