The second of Kanosuke's Artist Series is here with its second element - Fire.

The Artist Edition #002 is due for release on 15th March 2023, only at Kura no Shikon specialty stores.

Kanosuke's Artist Series is inspired by the Japanese Five Elements Philosophy as a way of a balanced and holistic life. It includes Wood, Fire, Earth, Gold and Water.

This annual release, now in its second edition, features the fire motif, designed by a photographer named Yuna Yagi. It was created by photographing a large piece of driftwood drifting by the coast and subsequently reprinting it multiple times.

The whisky inside is a 2019 non-peated Kanosuke, aged for over 3 years using PX Sherry barrels, matured at the Tadazu aging warehouse that is on a small hill on the north side of Kanosuke Distillery.

It is is priced at 13,700 Yen (or US$100.50).

Take note that to prevent resale, stores will stamp the packaging of the bottle when sold. If orders are overwhelming, the distillery may sell via lottery.
