Kanosuke is hosting a Hioki Kanosuke Distilling Festival 2023 for 12th November 2023, which will give visitors the chance to tour the distillery and also attend seminars by distillery directors and managers from both Kanosuke Distillery and Hioki Distillery.

As part of the festival, Kanosuke Distillery will be offering up a limited edition festival bottling.

This will be a 5 Year Old (technically 5.5 Year Old) Japanese Single Malt from Kanosuke Distillery that has been aged for 3 years in ex-Shochu casks and then 2.5 more years in ex-Rum casks.

"Enjoy this whisky with vanilla and rum raisin, lemon marmalade, and citrus notes like orange, with a perfect balance of soft sweetness and just the right amount of bitterness."

It is bottled 57% ABV, and is priced at 16,500 Yen (or US$110) and will be limited to one bottle per person via lottery at the distillery which will run from 1 - 12 Nov 2023.
