Krug Celebrates The Humble Carrot With Southeast Asia’s First Ambassade Summit in Singapore

Leveraging its profound connection to the culinary world, Maison Krug has tasked its global network of Krug Ambassade Chefs with a unique challenge: to unlock the creative potential of a single ingredient through imaginative culinary pairings that complement the latest Krug Krug Éditions: Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition, which blends 150 wines from 13 vintages, and the Krug Rosé 29ème Édition, composed of 29 wines from five vintages.
This year, these esteemed Ambassades will unite in Singapore at the first Krug Ambassade Regional Summit in Southeast Asia in july to pay a special tribute to the humble yet remarkably versatile carrot, in all its forms and all its flavor,

This unprecedented gathering on 9th July will bring together 11 esteemed Krug Ambassades from across the region, including culinary luminaries from Singapore such as Zén, JAAN by Kirk Westaway, IYASAKA by Hashida, Buona Terra, Art di Daniele Sperindio, Meta, and Shoukouwa. They will be joined by acclaimed regional Ambassades: Malaysia's Michelin-starred Au Jardin and Potager, and Thailand's two-Michelin-starred Sühring.

Following the summit, on July 10th, Krug will host an exclusive, six-hands ticketed dinner at JAAN by Kirk Westaway. For one night only, a limited number of guests will savor a curated menu featuring this year’s Single Ingredient – the carrot – with each course paired with the latest Krug Éditions.
Moomba, Singapore's exclusive Off-Trade Krug Ambassade, will join the celebration with a dedicated window display inspired by the theme of carrots.
From August to December, these participating restaurants will offer exclusive by-the-glass pairings featuring the latest Krug Éditions, also matched with carrot-inspired dishes of this year's theme.

As part of the release, a unique, collaborative cookbook authored by Krug Ambassades worldwide will also be launched. "Root for Thought" continues to pay collective tribute to the humble carrot, delving into the unexpected harmony between diverse culinary interpretations of the carrot and the exquisite complexities of Krug Champagne. Each recipe is designed to be easily replicable at home, for all Krug enthusiasts to attempt.
