Singapore's Lion Brewery Partners With Buffalo Trace Bourbon On Barrel Aged Beer
Singapore's Lion Brewery is about to drop their first ever barrel-aged beer in collaboration with major Bourbon maker, Buffalo Trace.
The new limited blended dark beer, Trailblazer, will be on tap at Thirty Six Smokehouse & Brewlab, crafted by ageing scotch ale in two of Buffalo Trace's charred barrels for four months before being blended.
"Crafted with passion and precision, this unique brew is a true masterpiece that perfectly balances the rich and complex flavours of the scotch ale with the distinct smooth and smoky notes of the bourbon barrels.
Discerning beer connoisseurs can expect hints of vanilla, toffee, and a toasted character from the unique wood char of the barrels, while suggestions of plums and dried fruit impress upon the palate."
The 6.6% ABV scotch ale is available for a limited run at $11.50 for 180ml, $15.50 for 335ml, and $19.50 for 483ml. And of course, happy hour pints go for $15.00!
