
The 50 Best Bar has unveiled its 51–100 extended ranking for 2026, marking a decade of celebrating global cocktail culture beyond the core top 50.
Published two weeks ahead of the flagship 50 Best Bars 2026 awards ceremony in Milan, the extended list spotlights 13 new entries across 34 cities, showcasing emerging mixology destinations.
By highlighting venues ranked 51 through 100, the extended list amplifies a broader spectrum of exceptional bar teams and creative concepts, highlighting rising innovators and regional leaders whose craftsmanship, hospitality, and influence continue to drive the industry forward on a global scale.
Widely recognized as a definitive benchmark of excellence in the global drinks industry, the annual ranking is compiled from the votes of The 50 Best Bars Academy. This international panel features over 800 independent bartenders, drinks journalists, spirits educators, and hospitality experts, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of global cocktail culture.

The 2026 ranking marks a milestone for West Africa, with two Accra venues—Front/Back (No. 80) and La Borracha (No. 87)—becoming the region's first-ever inclusions on the 51–100 list.
Melbourne also re-establishes its presence on the extended chart with newcomer Three Horses (No. 84), while Dubai’s LPM Dubai secures No. 58 to lead the Middle East representation.
The USA once again stands out as the most-represented country on the extended list, capturing five spots.
New York alone has three featured bars: Double Chicken Please (No. 53), Superbueno (No. 61) and Employees Only at (No. 78), joined by New Orleans’ Jewel of the South (No. 64) and Kumiko in Chicago (No. 70).
Mexico also continues its strong showing with three entries: Mexico City newcomer Form + Matter (No. 59), along with long-standing favourite Licorería Limantour (No. 63) and Tulum's Arca (No. 67).

Meanwhile, Central America achieves a historic milestone as San José’s Otro Bar debuts at No. 82, securing the first-ever inclusion for a Costa Rican venue in the international ranking.
Europe stands as the dominant power in the extended 51–100 ranking, capturing 18 spots overall, led by Italy's four placements. Rome hosts both Freni e Frizioni (No. 62) and Drink Kong (No. 92), with Florence featuring Gucci Giardino (No. 91) and Milan’s speakeasy 1930 (No. 94).
Spain and the United Kingdom follow closely behind with three bars apiece; Barcelona’s historic Boadas records one of the extended list’s biggest climbs, rising 33 places to No. 52, alongside Foco (No. 90).

Spain's presence is solidified by Madrid’s iconic Salmon Guru (No. 66), while the UK claims three entries across two cocktail capitals: London’s Three Sheets (Soho) (No. 73) and Scarfes Bar (No. 77), alongside Edinburgh’s Panda & Sons (No. 72).
Istanbul and Dublin make their debut appearances on the list through Bar Gabriel (No. 68) and Bar 1661 (No. 98), respectively.
Paris welcomes the return of Little Red Door (No. 93), while Athens sees a new entry in Naked(No. 76) alongside Baba au Rum (No.55). In Scandinavia, Stockholm is represented by Tjoget (No. 51) and Röda Huset (No. 83) while Oslo’s Svanen ranks No.65.
Asia welcomes five new entries to the extended global ranking; India's Boilermaker in Goa leads the region's new wave at No. 57, alongside MO Bar Shenzhen (No. 60), marking the first time a bar in Shenzhen has featured on the list.

Asia's fresh contingent is completed by Hong Kong's Mius (No. 81), Bangkok's G.O.D (No. 85), and Singapore's Offtrack (No. 89).
Hong Kong remains the continent's leading city with four bars featured. Mius is joined by Coa (No. 54), returning entry Penicillin (No.69) and The Savory Project (No.96).
Tokyo and Bangkok each secure three entries: Representing Tokyo are Bar Trench (No. 74), The SG Club (No. 88) and The Bellwood (No. 100) while Bangkok’s G.O.D is joined by Opium at No. 97 and Vesper at No. 99.
Elsewhere across Asia, Seoul's Bar Cham places at No. 71, Taichung's Vender ranks at No. 79 and Hiriketiya’s Smoke & Bitters at No. 86.
