Off the back of the Tiger label Chichibu by Japanese artist Kawanabe Kyosai, we have two more animal print Chichibu's by the same artist, which together seems to form an animal themed set. Japanese artist Kawanabe Kyosai was a popular caricaturist who lived through the Edo and Meiji Periods.
The two new Chichibu's are "Cat and Mouse" and "Crow" for single casks #3861 and #7180 respectively.
It appears that both Chichibu single casks are ex-Bourbon barrel, made with Concerto varietal barley, with the Cat label being aged for 8 years and bottled at 63.5% ABV, whilst the Crow label is aged for 6 years, and bottled similarly at 63.5% ABV.
The total outturn for Chichibu Cask #3861 "Cat and Mouse" is 190 bottles, while Chichibu Cask #7180 has an outturn of 250 bottles.
