Notes - The mission of connecting people, nature and time through 🍶 stays true at Masumi with their superior quality of 🍶. Sanka 山花 is 1 of 3 from their superior lineup series which is available all year round but in limited quantities. Made with in house Masumi Kobo #7, this 🍶 is light and crisp in the mouth with an aroma that resembles fresh grass after raining. Subtle spiciness can be felt as the 🍶 slides down the throat. Medium acidity with a slight bitter aftertaste. Delicate and smooth with lots of complexity and character.

Didn’t manage to pair with any food as I was just craving for some 🍶 while binge watching dramas on Netflix. The 1st dish that came to my mind for pairing will be Gyusuji Nikomi (Japanese Beef Tendon Stew) as the depth and complexity of the 🍶 will work in tandem with the incredibly flavorful stew. Another dish that might also work will be a plate of Yakisoba. I’m not a fan of that but as I prefer savory to sweet, this medium dry 🍶 will help to remove some of the sweetness making the Yakisoba more palatable for me.

Overall, this is a pretty nice 🍶 that needs to be enjoyed chilled at around 10-12C to enable the release of its fresh aroma. 🥂 🥂 🥂
