Notes - 1st time trying a 🍶 brewed with Hitogokochi 🌾 which is created in Nagano in 1987 to improve the shortcomings of Nagano’s prominent brewing 🌾, Miyamanishiki. Being a muroka nama 🍶, this is the freshest 🍶 that you can taste outside of the brewery. Light and clean in the mouth with lots of aroma resembling freshness of early morning and fresh greens. A touch of fresh sourness can be felt that likely derives from the lactic acid due to the absence of filtering. Smooth and round at the back of the throat with a short finish of almond jelly aftertaste.

This bottle was enjoyed with some 🇯🇵 appetizers consisting of Tamagoyaki 🥚, Maguro Zuke with 🥑, grilled 🍗 and grilled hamachi collar. The freshness of the 🍶 makes it so good to go with all the dishes especially the hamachi collar as it adds another layer of fresh sweetness to the fish.

1st time trying Sakunohana and is really good comparing to the usual “M” brand from the same prefecture. This will be the new brand on my go to list.
