Vinexpo Asia 2025: Charting A Clear Path For ASEAN Wine Trade In A Shifting Landscape

Vinexpo Asia 2025 concluded its three-day run from May 27-29 at Marina Bay Sands, drawing a whopping 8,998 trade participant and solidified its reputation as both a business catalyst, as well as a platform for market insights and strategic foresight.
Kicking off with an opening ceremony, the event was attended by Singapore's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Trade & Industry Gan Siow Huang alongside 15 ambassadors, underscoring the event's foundation in economic diplomacy, along with its position as a dynamic and collective force in the global wine and spirits trade.
In her keynote address, MOS Gan underlined Singapore’s commitment to “working with like-minded partners around the world” to “uphold free and open trade”.

From Thailand to Vietnam, Malaysia to Indonesia and the Philippines, the ASEAN bloc demonstrated a shared momentum driven by demographic growth and economic ambition.
Vinexpo Asia undeniably cemented its role as a catalyst for high-quality business interactions, facilitating a remarkable 4,253 scheduled meetings. The 2025 edition was particularly notable for the intensity and caliber of exchanges, largely driven by Vinexposium’s efficient business matching platform—a tool widely lauded by exhibitors for its effectiveness.

Attracting buyers from over 60 countries, Vinexpo Asia saw a particularly strong turnout from Southeast Asia, highlighting the region's pivotal role in the show. Local professionals from Singapore were joined by key decision-makers from Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. These were in turn graced by the presence of national and regional pavilions from France, Italy, China, the USA, and Australia.
The Vinexpo Academy, serving as the event's strategic compass, mirrored this spirit of openness and dialogue. It hosted over 30 conferences and masterclasses that delved into the transformative forces shaping the industry—from evolving consumption habits and emerging distribution models to the rise of new regional players.

Vinexposium also unveiled the second issue of its editorial publication, Voice of the Industry. This edition offered an in-depth focus on the Asian market, providing attendees with expert analysis, data-backed predictions, and real-world insights from the field.
Four episodes of the Voice by Vinexposium podcast were also recorded live in Singapore! Set to be released soon post-event, these episodes covered key themes such as the reinvention of Southeast Asia’s distribution models, the rise of premium spirits, and how identity and collectability are redefining brand strategies. Episodes will be released post-event.

The event doesn't quite end in Singapore!
Maintaining its strategic momentum, Vinexpo Asia heads to Hong Kong next from May 26-28, 2026, at HKCEC, along with a slew of other countries to follow all the way until October!
