This is the Fall 2006 release of the infamous GTS. GTS started a consistent fall release schedule after 2005, when there were 2 Spring releases and 1 Fall version.

Nose: full bodied, hints of vanilla, mostly mesquite BBQ sauce, dried limes, similar to picante, some light boiled peanuts in there, salted caramel, light caramel residue pops up here and there, totally doesn't seem like 70% abv.

Palate: very dry, it's like GTS hahaha, hard to describe, but similar to a combination of salted boiled peanuts, brown sugar, Chinese old fire soup, burnt chocolate, a set of spices.

Finish: medium, semi-coats the mouth with a sort of sweet vinegar, nutty caramel.

GTS is amazing as usual, strong powerful flavor profile, although similar to other batches, just varies in intensity on some parts. The amazing thing about GTS is that I never feel like I'm drinking hazmat... its has an above 90% confidence interval on the flavor impact profile, but I couldn't attribute it to abv.
