Mars Maltage Cosmo, b.2020, Wine cask finish, 43% ABV

Mars Maltage "Cosmo", b.2020, Wine cask finish, 43% abv.

Nose: smells like a dishwasher sponge, a weird wax, moldy crayons, caramel butter, synthetic, apple juice, maple syrup, ...am I getting steamed lobster shell?,a dynamic aroma set.

Palate: light to medium body, initial palate is a little sweet, hints of date juice, mid palate extends the initial palate, has more fruit sweetness but its light, passionfruit shell/skill, dough, wax, half mixed dry pancakes, mix, back palate has more of a waffle flavor set, grains, honey oats, honey, those cinnamon maple croffles they sell at department stores in South Korea.

Finish: medium, slight grape cough syrup, cherry juice, mints at the end.

A strange one in my opinion, like waxy/moldy waffles/pancakes. That weird crayon flavor... hard to describe.
