There's a particular kind of relief in July, the warm, heavy hush before the afternoon storms that makes you crave wines with lift, salinity and a pulse. This month we've gone looking for exactly that: bottles shaped by ocean wind, volcanic rock and limestone, made by growers who trust the soil to do the talking. Our July tasting room session leans cool, mineral and alive.
What We’re Pouring
Twenty-five wines, five producers, from Atlantic volcanoes to the slopes of the Côte de Nuits, bound together by a quiet refusal to take the easy road. Old vines, living soils, native ferments, and a deep respect for place.
