1994 Mai Tai:
The Mai Tai is the the most fascinating drink to me. My mom is from Maui and I’ve been there probably 30 times. I’ve had hundreds of Mai Tais. While I of course prefer the Trader Vic specs, this recipe reminds me of what I drink on vacation. It’s not a Mai Tai, but it’s fantastic.

1/2oz TRIPLE SEC (@cointreau)
1.5oz PINEAPPLE JUICE
1.5oz FRESH ORANGE JUICE
1oz FRESH LIME JUICE
3/4oz DARK RUM (@koloarum)

•Combine ingredients sans dark rum and shake
•Pour over crushed ice
•Float dark rum
•Garnish with cocktail umbrella and lime wedge
