Absinthe Frappé:
This drink was created at the Old Absinthe House in New Orleans in 1837. It has stood the test of time. Absinthe has a strong licorice flavor which is probably why I like it so much. Even if you don’t, give this a try. You may be surprised.

1/2oz 1.5:1 SIMPLE SYRUP
1oz SODA WATER
2 LEMON WEDGES

•Combine absinthe, sugar, and lemon and shake
•Double strain over crushed ice in rocks glass
•Top with soda
•Garnish with mint sprig
