This recipe I got from @employeesonlyny in their book ‘Speak Easy.’ It’s a balanced drink that is sweet and nutty.

2oz BOURBON (@makersmark)
1/2oz 1:1 SIMPLE SYRUP
1/2oz GRENADINE (@liberandco)
1oz FRESH LEMON JUICE
ABSINTHE
—————
•Rinse a chilled cocktail glass with absinthe
•Combine ingredients and shake 10 seconds
•Double strain
•Garnish with lemon wheel
