This drink has a smokey flavor from the mezcal, bitter from the Aperol, herbal from the Chartreuse, and tart from the lime. These tastes combine to make perhaps my favorite cocktail I’ve tried so far. Both green and yellow chartreuse are very difficult to find right now due to a shortage.
