This cocktail was born in the 30’s in Baltimore where the Preakness Stakes horse race takes place. The recipe was the winner of a contest to determine an official cocktail for the Preakness Ball.

3/4oz SWEET VERMOUTH (@vermouthdolin)
1/2oz BENEDICTINE (@benedictineliqueur)
1 dash ANGOSTURA BITTERS (@angosturahouse)

•Combine ingredients and stir
•Strain into chilled coupe
•Garnish with cocktail cherry
