Whiskey Daisy No. 2:

When I was making this I thought I was making the one and only Whiskey Daisy, but I realized it was actually the sequel. The first version is made with triple sec, lemon juice, and grenadine. This version is sweetened by some lovely orgeat syrup.

1oz RYE WHISKEY (@rittenhouserye)
3/4oz FRESH LEMON JUICE
1/2oz SUGAR SYRUP (1:1)
1/2oz ORGEAT (@liquidalchemist)

•Combine ingredients and shake
•Double strain into chilled coupe
•Garnish with lemon peel
