Batch 7 of GlenDronach's all time favorite cask strength. This was drawn from a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which the distillery is famous for - a wonderfully rich Sherried whisky!

Nose - Some wood oak sweetness

Taste - First warm, oily smoothness , sweet sherry , some maltose sugary

Finish - Medium finish , sherry sweetness lingering

This is absolutely tasty after the Glenglassaugh, when I revisited this dram solely on this, I couldn't get back the lingering finish.
